Indiranagar police filed a case against five people for violating Supreme Court order after bursting firecrackers after 10 people.
According to the police, according to the order of the Supreme Court and the notification issued by the state government, the crackers of the firecrackers were allowed between 8 PM and 10 PM only. Based on complaints from local people, these five young people were detained and a case was registered under the Karnataka Police Act.
The police said, “We released them after issuing the warning that order of Supreme Court should be followed and action against them will be initiated.”
The police said, “This is the first time that somebody has been detained for violating the order of the Supreme Court in connection with the cracking of crackers, compared to the previous years, this time few crackers were torn apart.”
